Hi everyone,
Thank you for an amazing online meeting!
The table topic session lead by Angela: the questions were short, funny, sweet, and related to the topic, which was: Green World: 1) What do you think of this quote by Henrik Tikkanen: “Because we don’t think about future generations, they will never forget us.”? 2) What is your opinion about this quote by Standing Bear: “Man’s heart away from nature becomes hard”? 3) What are your thoughts about this quote by Mahatma Gandhi: “What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror reflection of what we are doing to ourselves and to another”?
Then, we had 3 prepared speeches lead by Johnny: 1) Gwendolyn, a guest speaker, reminded us that as leader we should be role models in overcoming our fear. 2) Mahmoud recounted his story about a controversial topic which is toxic masculinity. 3) Melyan shared her research on how robots are our friends and allies.
Finally, we had a constructive and positive evaluation session lead by Louise Veronique:
Here are some tips for working on in the future:
- Body language
- Projection of emotions
- Vocal variety
- Engagement of the audience
- Adjustment of the camera and the zoom background
- Time management
- Test to avoid technical issues
